I'm excited to share a few preview images of the plugin I've been developing, which is nearly ready for release. This plugin Integrates all AFVR clothing into a single, user-friendly interface that is compatible with both desktop and VR mode. It allows you to remain in play mode while customizing your character's outfit, making it ideal for beginners in VaM (Virt-a-Mate).
Version 1.0 includes over 500 plus clothing items to select from, organized into categories such as pants, shorts, tops, bras, Swimsuits, socks, and more. The plugin utilizes the existing AFVR Var clothing, ensuring compatibility with all my previous clothing releases without causing any issues. Each category features cycle buttons, enabling you to easily browse and find the perfect combinations. For example, you can add panties to your character and then cycle through bras until you find the one that pairs best.
The clothing groups are designed to work logically. For example, skirts, shorts, and pants share a single button group, ensuring only one can be worn at a time. Another example would be if your character is wearing a bra and you select a bikini top, the bra will automatically be removed, as the two wouldn’t look good together. Additionally, all buttons include a hide/unhide option. For instance, after selecting panties and cycling through pants, some pants might look great with the panties peeking out of the top, while others might not—allowing you to easily hide the panties if needed.
I’ve also added a quick-select menu displaying 20 clothing items at a time, with seamless page and category switching for faster navigation. The plugin offers a range of starter models and poses for you to select from, as well as an orbit-and-zoom camera that enables you to quickly view your model from all angles. I also added a turntable-style rotation feature, perfect for showcasing your outfit when complete. Included with the plugin is a ready-to-use TryMeOn scene, perfect for making your look, but if you prefer you can apply the plugin to any female character in any scene of your choice.
For advanced users, you can import your own looks and seamlessly interact with VaM’s standard menus, enabling you to mix and match additional VaM clothing items with the AFVR clothing items.
While TryMeOn version 1.0 doesn’t yet include certain categories like dresses, jackets, T-shirts, shoes, etc, these AFVR clothing items are planned for including in future updates. But with over 500 items already available in V1.0, there’s plenty to explore in the meantime.
I hope you will find this plugin both a valuable and enjoyable enhancement to your VaM experience. Stay tuned for the release.
