Hi everyone!
It's already been a week since the launch of the Luna and Yui update, but in the meantime, I've continued making progress on developing new content.
As always, I have to start with the planning phase. I have a lot of content scheduled for Layla's update, and my goal is for each of the girls to receive at least one significant scene. This means this update should feature at least 4 new scenes: one for Layla, one for Gia, one for Alia, and another for Layla's mother. It sounds easy when put that way, but organizing everything while hitting our release dates is a bit chaotic!
And of course, I'm balancing all of this with a ton of story progress!
The Layla/Alia duo is crucial to the deep lore and the mystery surrounding Argleton. The pacing of the story needs to be just right so you feel a real payoff for everything we've been building up so far. It's a lot to work on in a short amount of time without it feeling rushed or confusing.
My goal is to make this part dynamic and fun, similar to Azalea's story in Prim's update. I know some of you found the parts where Layla explains physics or math a bit heavy—honestly, I know many of you just skip them! As a writer, I need to find a more elegant way to weave all of that together.
I'd also like to expand the Love interaction system that was introduced in version 0.10.5 with Luna. It'll be more complex this time because it involves Layla, Alia, and Gia, and since they all have different costumes, there are a ton of variations to cover! I'll evaluate this as development moves forward, but at the very least, Layla will have this system implemented.
On top of that, I want to test some dynamic events that occur when helping Gia or Layla at work. If you have enough Lust/Depravity points, a new scene with exclusive animations will be unlocked.
And here's a big goal: If we reach 1,500 Patrons this month, I commit to remastering Layla's first sex scene. It will be repeatable and consist of two parts: a "soft" version and a "hard" version (if you have enough Lust points), naturally featuring full sound effects.
