I found my work around was apparently a fluke, because the next video I tried, it broke no matter what I did. So I've surrendered, networked the two machines together, and did it on the old machine instead, reading all the files and stuff off the new machine. And it works without a problem.
So I basically spent a couple grand to get a new video game console, apparently.
Anyway, plan is for an old TOS on Saturday, an old TAS on Tuesday, and Wednesday and Thursday Fullmetal Panic and Lower Decks on Saturday. Then the following week back to Alien material.
