If you joined near the end of March 2026 or later after the price change took effect, this most likely does not apply to you except the slight prices changes that may occur by $0.01 in the next few months.
If you are in the $3 Follower or $20 Zealot tiers, this does not apply to you.
TLDR:
Patreon's pricing protocols will force me to adjust prices by $0.01 (1 cent USD) over the next few months in order to bring the grandfathered prices for older subscribers into alignment. This applies to Admirer, Supporter, and Fanatic tiers only. Followers and Zealots are not affected.
Also, grace periods for older subscribers will be extended 1 or 2 months (*depending on individual billing dates).

Update:
The tier pricing structure went into effect April 2026 for new subscribers, the first price increase in almost 4 years. However, I hit some technical issues with my original plan that delayed this leveling of these prices to older subscribers who had grace periods (older Admirer, Supporter, and Fanatic-tier subscribers may have noticed that the price increases did not happened for June as planned).
As a reminder, in April 2026 :
Followers — NO price change. This level remains at $3. To help balance this out, entry into Contests has been removed. All other benefits will remain the same.
Admirers — $1 increased to $6
Supporters — $1 increased to $8
Fanatics — $1 increased to $12. Coupon codes remain the same $2 amount.
Zealots — NO price change. This level remains at $20. Coupon codes remain the same $4 amount.
As mentioned in this post from March 2026, current subscribers would get a grace period of 2-3 months, depending on tier. Grace-period'ed Admirer's would have kept their original price until June 2026, and Supporters and Fanatic originally would have seen the change in July 2026. These dates have been extended (See below for details).
The issue that caused the delay
Patreon allows you to increase prices and to have the option to keep the old price for current members, which I did. My plan was to then, after the grace period, go through the process of changing the price again, but keeping the amount the same and, this time, apply it to current subscribers as well, equalizing the field. Well, you can't "change the price" without actually changing the price. And when you do, the price is locked for 31 days (makes sense, to give people time to adjust and decide).
So, the timing has changed and the pricing adjustment to bring everyone up the same level.
Strange New Plan
In order to achieve equalized pricing, this is the new plan moving forward that works within the protocol Patreon has set up. Hopefully, it will work. The plan is basically the same for each of the 3 tiers that are increasing, but specific details are below:
New Overall Pricing Leveling Timing and Grace Periods:
Older subscribers will see their membership reflect the current published price based on this schedule. The price change will be applied a few days before the 1st of the following months:
Admirer tier : changed from June 2026 to July 2026
Supporter tier: changed from July 2026 to August 2026
Fanatic tier changed from July 2026 to September 2026
Admirer Tier
• Admirer Pricing was adjusted for new subscribers for April 2026 to $6.• Ongoing subscribers from before April 2026 kept their $5 rate for a grace period.• > Near the end of June, I will change the price of Admirer from $6 to $5.99 and apply this change to everyone in the tier.• After 31 days (price lock), the price will be adjusted again to a new, even $6.00 for the entire tier, bringing everyone in that tier in line. (OR, I may just keep it $5.99)• This gives older subscribers an added month to their grace period to July 2026 instead of June 2026.(* Due to different billing dates for each member, actual timing of monthly price change may vary per person.)
Supporter Tier

Pricing Perspective
As mentioned in my previous post, the price changes (that only affect 3 of 5 tiers) is only $1 per month. That's HALF the cost of a small fries at Mickey D's or a taco from Taco Bell! And the yearly cost ($12) is less than the price of ONE fast food meal spread out over the course of an entire YEAR! (*All prices in USD)
