Story line: John, taken aback by the mermaid's insatiable appetite, wondered how he could possibly keep up with her demands. As the mermaid let out a loud burp, John couldn't help but chuckle at the unexpected sound. She was finally satisfied and to John’s surprised the mermaid granted him one wish.
Curious, John asked the mermaid if he could pass the wish onto his wife, Emily, so she could wish for more babies and grow even bigger. The mermaid, touched by John's selflessness, granted his wish. John quickly ran off to tell Emily.
