Hello everyone! Not much to say today but I don't want to leave you without news for too long! Thanks Patrons for being here and supporting my work. You rock!
---- MOD STUFF ----
- I am going through backlog of stuff to check with my mods, backlog caused by my former tech issues which prevented me from running the game.
I will let you know if any file has to be updated in this process. So far we've found some sort of new mod conflict not yet identified.
- I am also currently working on the Jail System of LAW & DISORDER. We'll talk about it more soon :)
--- TS4 MOD HOUND STUFF ----
- Over the past month, thousands of you Mod Users have tried out the Mod Hound's automated 'Check my Mods' scan 🐶🎉. I assume some of you have been consulting my mod update table as well, but I'm not keeping track 😂
- Several modders have also joined the platform (thankfully for LittleMissSam, she could add all her 600+ mods at once thanks to the Hound's automation abilities 😂) and I hope that it offers them a decent experience! I am thankful for their early adoption and valuable feedback. Cheers, friends!
- The platform has changed and improved steadily since its first day, keeping as its core principles 'quickness of use' and 'automation'.
No matter what, I know for a fact that using Mod Hound can only have improved your experience with keeping track of my personal mod updates, and that's at least a victory.
- I am hoping that more modders will join the platform as it becomes more known. I am also hoping that some integrations will happen with some other platforms around this here community, but I can't make promises of matters where it takes several to tango. - Similarly, for the roles of Trusted Community Editor, I'm the only one of those currently. That made me consider delaying or even abandoning the idea of Basic Community Reports, which need reviewing by Trusted Community. But I figured, before abandoning, why not give it a try at least. That means the following:
- Soon, the platform will welcome YOU (those of you who are interested) to become an active participant in what it can do.First, you will be able to report mod updates / status changes (for unregistered modders and modders who allow community editing). If that goes well, you will then be able to submit Modders and / or Mods to be added to its knowledge base.
Every submission goes to be reviewed and approved by Trusted Community Members (which currently means 'just me' 😂). This is for accuracy and safety.
If you like to be of service to the TS4 community and pride yourself in being a community hero even if it's behind the scenes, once those systems are fully out, feel free to report updates to your favorite mods so others can be notified too, or add your favorite creators so they get visibility.
Ultimately, modders themselves (and Trusted Community Members, of which we have 1 currently aka me) have access to the Hound's automation and bulk operation systems which make it much more convenient and faster for them to add and update mod listings vs basic community users. So the ideal is still that modders themselves would list their content, BUT, if they aren't participating and you want to help others in the community by submitting for listing mods or mods or mod updates, there will be opportunities. 'm sure it would be appreciated by all 👀🙏
Thanks for your time and patience. The months since the Lovestruck patch have been tough modding-wise but things are getting back to smooth sailing.Stay warm!
