Another little tangent taken, but I think it's worth it. There are other mods that focus on similar concepts, this is just one more different take on handling making relationship progress less "immediate".

This lets you define a daily cap for how many relationship points two Sims can gain in a day.

You can set caps separately for friendship, romance and romantic satisfaction.

The cap is per sim interacted with / individual to each relationship.

The interaction to change the caps is under "Actions".

NOTE: on what points mean

a full positive romance bar is 100 points (0 to 100 is positive)

a full positive friendship bar is 100 points (0 to 100 is positive)

a full positive romantic satisfaction bar is 75 points (0 to 75 is positive)

You can set the daily point gain caps from 1 to 99.

EXAMPLE OF IN GAME EFFECT:

Say your friendship cap setting is 30.

If Bella Goth gain a cumulative total of 30 friendship points that day with her husband (no matter if they lost points in between or not), they can't gain any more friendship points until either they sleep a full night OR until 24hrs have passed, whichever comes first. (But she can still gain friendship with Alexander, until that cap is reached with him too, and can still gain Romance with her husband, until the romance cap is reached, etc).

Should certain traits, etc, be immune to the point caps? Let me know!
