I think Duane lost his cool there to hear the Sharte chime in too. It's already obscenely hard to aim when you can't see your hand on the line, and anger clouded his already harried senses. Good try all the same! They're not gonna give you a second go though.
Man, Nora is such a polarizing character. I can find people saying she makes them want to stop reading, and people saying she's their new favourite villain. I just think she's fun. There's something special about a competent baddie who knows what she's doing and has pretty valid reasons for doing it. You kind of have no recourse but to punch them in the face because you're not going to win a war of words.
There's a brief missive on the site. I'll copy it here for your convenience:
[CLASSIFIED] "...led nowhere and so with confidence our office at the time reported to her Majesty that the conspiracy was limited to the Song Temple cadre, but we could never rule out wider involvement from Alderode's government. Did they not want a Soud Composer in place? Maybe. Something fishy about it all. Interestingly in the years since, a minor alliance began between Song Temple and those Tannery assassins, at least some of whom we know are criminal expats, including a pair from that smuggling ring in Hale. One of our agents was killed attempting to infiltrate, but our offices believe them responsible for a handful of high profile eliminations that have benefited Ssaelit interests. As tensions rise up there, we're certain these murderers will be further utilized."
