Alds are very superstitious about their hair. They not only burn locks of it when beseeching a Holy, but they include locks when burning (or burying) a loved one, and take all their hair clippings home from the floor of the barber or beauty parlour, for fear of bad actors stealing them and using them for curses.
One of the first thing a newcomer notices about any major Aldish city is it kinda stinks like burnt hair...
Gonna skip Monday's update! I'm making good progress with the print books, but I can feel myself cutting corners with new pages in order to keep meeting the daily deadline, and this causes me angst. I don't want the current comic to suffer while I edit the old one. So a few skipped pages now and then until the print deadline's over will make your friendly neighbourhood comic artist less miserable :) Thank you for understanding!
