Amadwe Argenti here is Will's father. He appeared briefly in Unsounded but the years since Duane's death have been rough, and a Silver only lives half a century before the khert takes him. The doctor say he's on the last year of his life but he's not ready to give up his position as Amadwe yet. He will command the Temple's forces from his deathbed, if he must.
Argenti's Continental skills are very poor, and you can see the Jet interpreter at his side helping him out.
He makes his son wildly, extremely, superbly nervous.
