Controlify Splitscreen Alpha 1

The first alpha of Splitscreen is here!

• Currently only works on Windows.

• Currently only works in attached beta version of Prism Launcher, or Vanilla Launcher.

• Contains many bugs.

How to use

• Pick between:

  • The portable Prism Launcher beta (attached), which includes a preloaded instance with all the mods

  • The zip folder of all the mods you need (attached), to put in the vanilla .minecraft mods folder.

• Launch the game like normal.

• Ensure at least 2 controllers are connected

• Start using Minecraft with the first controller

• Press the start button with the second controller, this is the button usually inscribed with the three horizontal lines

• Enjoy! Controlify Splitscreen will load in, you can play singleplayer freely!

Limitations

• Only singleplayer mode for now, the non-primary controllers are logged in in offline mode.

• You cannot change your skin from the default Steve/Alex.

Known bugs

• Fullscreen has not been reimplemented, window mode only.

• Some focus issues, fixed by clicking on the titlebar, then making your mouse stop hovering the left window, then move it back on to hover the left window

  • This manifests in many ways, from not being able to drag in GUIs, to the 'resume game' button not working

• The mouse is stuck grabbed to the window, even when you pause

• The "report this as a bug" screen momentarily pops up many times during connecting ti worlds, ignore it

• The sides can become unsynced if the right window disconnects, or goes into options menu, etc. This pause menu will be overriden in the future.

• Options don't sync between sides

• Goofy ah looking "loading splitscreen" GUI

• Conflicting music plays on all instances, mute your music
