Halfway House Parity Update

This update brings the Patreon versions of Halfway House in line with the recently released Steam version.

The build now contains all content from Episode 1 through Episode 11 and includes the various fixes, improvements, and compliance updates that were made during the Steam release process. The only Steam-specific features not included are Steam Cloud saves and Steam achievements.

Theme Music Change

As some of you may already know, the previous main menu theme song had to be removed due to licensing issues with the original artist.

To ensure the long-term availability of the game and avoid future complications, the old theme has been replaced with the new original theme song, "Feel the Fall", performed by Ashley Jana.

This change brings all versions of the game in line with the Steam release and establishes a consistent baseline for future updates.

Free Version Retirement

The previous free version of Halfway House has been retired.

This is partly due to the licensing situation surrounding the original theme song, which made continued distribution of older builds undesirable. With the release of this parity update, I would like all future downloads of the game to use the current supported build going forward.

In its place, a free demo version will be made available. The demo allows new players to try the game before purchasing the full version while ensuring that all publicly distributed builds remain current and properly supported.

This is not Ep12

Ep12 is still under development and is currently 50-60% complete.
