Hey everyone, I wanted to address something that's been happening recently. We've seen an increase in suspicious accounts joining the server. These accounts (if they are real people) often don't read the rules, skip over the join instructions and usually don't give the right passcode, or join with the intention to privately message people to commission or run scams. Some of these accounts have come through Patreon.
Because of this, I want to let you guys know we are going to be strict when reviewing join applications, if your application is denied because the passcode is incorrect or missing, this usually tells me the rules weren't fully read. You are always welcome to reapply after taking a moment to read through everything carefully. In some cases, these accounts have even joined with the Patreon Supporter Role. At this point, I can't say whether these are legitimate supporters, compromised accounts, or something else, so I'm being extra cautious just in case of that.
Please understand these extra checks aren't meant to make the whole joining process difficult, they are mostly there to keep the community safe. Thank you all for your understanding, thank you guys for the wonderful support through the years, it's been a massive blessing and I cannot thank you enough.
