Hey folks. Just a quick one to address something. Unfortunately on both YT and Patreon as per my recently published Angel episode I've had a few replies now that have confirmed something about the episode that I didn't fully know that, at least to my mind, has spoiled something for at least next episode but for certain about the show in general. I appreciate Doyle's death is something cemented in the fanbase and has been for a very long time, but for a first time watcher it really isn't clear in a supernatural show that it's confirmed at this stage. I don't mean this post to throw shade at anyone, but it has disappointed me a little bit as now it means my reaction to finding out this news won't be on camera for you all to see, and I'll be going into next episode informed when previously I wasn't. I just feel as if everyone has sort of missed out a little here.
I appreciate considering what I've learned about Glenn that this is a sensitive topic, and that some folks felt it important to mention. I appreciate that. That's fair. For future reference though I would ask for people to wait a little longer until it's confirmed for me in-show, or until I'm in a place where I'm not doubtful about events, considering at the end of the video I expressed doubts as to whether it was legitimate and that I would wait to see if it was and go from there.
I know those comments came from a place of enthusiasm and care for the show, and I really do value that love and care and enthusiasm, so I really hope this comes across more so as honest explanation and request as opposed to any sort of telling off. I really don't mean it that way. I feel as if it was something I just wanted to clarify my stance on early rather than risk it happening in either Buffy or Angel again in future about something else. At the end of the day, these things happen.
Thanks folks 😊 I hope you all have a great week 💙
