A Little Dev Update
At the start of the year, my monitor randomly decided to die 💀. I got a new one, which was terrible, then I had to wait a few more days to get a replacement. Off to a good start lol.
But ya, besides that, and a little neck pain, this year has been a huge upgrade from last year for me.
I've continued writing the dialogues for Chapter 3 and have completed the dialogues up to 0.6.0. I wanted to keep focusing on writing all the Ch3 dialogues before releasing game updates, but I changed my mind. It just wasn't fun to do, so instead, I wanna continue releasing updates while writing new dialogues.
I usually would release v0.5.8 first, then v0.5.9 2 weeks later, and so on. But while writing the dialogues, I realised there was very little fan service in each of those updates, given the more serious tone of Ch3, so I decided to bundle all the content from 0.5.8-0.6.0 as one update instead. I'll also have to restructure my roadmap, but it's okay.
I initially wanted to release v0.5.8 on the 21st of February, but I know for a fact I'm gonna need extra time for QA. And if there's time, I might even include v0.6.1 content in the upcoming v0.5.8 update as well; we'll see. I really wanna finish Chapter 3 ASAP so I can spend more time working on the new game.
