Panel 1
Meteor Man receding quickly in the distance, a rocket snagged on his rocky back as he struggles to free himself.
NARRATION:
Meteor Man got hit by one of the mini-rockets.
He was shoved away from the planet, faster than he could fly back.
Panel 2
Dramatic shot of the robot’s laser carving the orbiter into pieces with a twisting trajectory of the beam that zigs and zags, destroying the orbiter as well as Death Moth.
NARRATION:
Death Moth got cut in half working the shuttle doors, as the orbiter was carved up.
Just as well, she was kind of a ghoul. Literally.
Part of her super power was reanimating dead people’s bodies to live again.
Panel 3
The nose of the orbiter in the foreground, in which we can make out the suited and helmeted crew inside, upside down as behind them LEMAR the robot is exploding in a rather sizeable fireball, with Major Catastrophe pointing one arm at him with a beam between them.
NARRATION:
Major Catastrophe blew L.E.M.A.R. up to stop him, which just made things worse.
Panel 4
The wrecked front half of the orbiter tumbling down toward the planet below. The cockpit is still intact, as well as everything forward of the cargo bay. The tail with the engines is spinning on its own.
Fuuuuuuuuuuck!
NARRATION:
That explosion gave everything still in one piece a great big shove back to Earth.
Panel 5
A crude 80’s gridline graphic created inside Major Catastrophe’s armor of their uncontrolled entry trajectory, indicating they are probably going to impact over the American southwest. A secondary trajectory is marked ‘intercept course’.
NARRATION:
Falling to Earth,we were really moving fast.
With no power, no navigation, no control.
Panel 6
Major Catastrophe as viewed from behind and to the side, chasing after the wrecked orbiter, arms outstretched, magnetic waves coming off him to propel him and reaching ahead of him to start stabilizing the craft.
NARRATION:
We still had radio, and the Major planned to use his armor as a magnetic rudder, for as long as his systems held out.
Panel 7
Major Catastrophe magnetically sealing himself to the back of the cabin compartment, back to the wall, arms spread as it begins re-entry, NOT blocking the hatch.
NARRATION:
To align what was left of the orbiter, prevent it from tumbling end over end and breaking up.
Panel 8
Shot of the remains of the orbiter as it makes a fiery descent into the atmosphere, camera pulled back to show it is a small thing making a comet trail as chunks of the cargo bay burn up behind them, making sparks like a Space-X rocket.
NARRATION: D
Guide it to water, in the hopes that we wouldn’t hit a populated area.
