We made extensive changes to the script between what we previously published as a spoiler, and what's going onto the page. So much so that we're going to republish that spoiler here, for all of our patrons to enjoy, to anticipate what's coming this Friday. Thanks for your support, gang!Panel 1
Britomart pouting while Ronni grins and claps her on the shoulder while holding up the doll-sized giant in her hand who is trying to bite her thumb while his legs kick furiously. In the background you can see Karloff looming, doing something creepy and arcane over what was Harald O’Shea, now a block-shaped imprint in the ground with a red splotch, the orb stamped into the ground where his head should have been.
GG:
But hey, cheer up!
I gotcha a little prisoner to interrogate, huh?
Hahn? Hanh?
GIANT: TINY CROWDED FONT:Consarn no good rassa frassa!
Panel 2
We focus on Karloff as he raises Harald’s ghost, looking very spooky and mythical as he does so. Which we’ll see again later with Leonitas, but we didn’t give it a lot of space in that part, so let’s showcase the ‘raising the spirit’ bit here. DIRE NECROMANCY YO.
HOS:...maaaaAAAKE a crummy lightshow?LOWER CASE:Hey. wait a minute...
Panel 3
Harald’s ghost rises from his corpse, Kyle Baker outrage hands, looking very put out.
HOS:That’s it?That was my whole life?
Panel 4
Karloff’s grim visage as seen through Harald’s ghost, looking bug-eyed in distress one last time. Swann is in the shot, looking sympathetic.
DS:I’ll tell yuir father ye fought bravely, and honored him, Harald the Conquerer.
Panel 5
A black abyss opens beneath Harald and his spirit swirls down into it, deforming as it stretches, tugging him down below even Hades as Swann looks a bit unnerved by that.
KTD:Better luck in Tartarus.
Panel 6
Harald deforms as he is sucked down into the dark portal.
HOS:Wait, what?!?
Panel 7
Reaction panel of the party, Karloff in silhouette as foreground framing element.
Panel 8
Same shot, with dialogue.
KTD:He did say Forbidden arcane lore.
Panel 6
Panel 9-12
Width of the page sliver panel that reads left to right like a summation of the day’s battles. Change lighting source as we move across it?
GG:
Thinking we should probably move to a new location, huh?
Panel 13
Evening coming on, and Ronni looking around at around 60 feet tall, about treetop level. She is tossing aside the hat at this point, and has returned to her adventuring outfit.
GG:
So we can get some rest and not be attacked by the children of the night?
BTP:
That would be a brilliant plan, had we the time.
Panel 14
Looking down at a dead giant holding Halder’s dead horse.
BTP:
There is less than quarter of an hour til sets the sun, and what mounts remain are not ready to ride.
Panel 15
Britomart reaction panel, lecturing toward the setting sun, raging against the dying of the light.
BTP:
We must make our stand, and camp here.
