Hi everybody.
I hope you've had a great week and are looking forward to your weekend. Here's a summary of our work last week:
Chestnut:
She has been doing a little bit of everything: retouching old backgrounds (plus one of the new ones I had created while posing, which corresponds to a location on a new map that we will return to in future updates and after the MC has unlocked the ability to move between different towns whenever he wants), finishing up sprites, and cutscenes.
Pistachio:
I have been busy posing the ending of Gomira's story and changing its epilogue a little. It's been a bit risky redoing this part of the story, especially since it's the ending, but it's turning out really well. We wanted the update to finish with a bang, and I think we're getting that.
Next week's plan:
I'm going to try to finish the ending. It has taken me longer but that's because we're not just polishing, and creating a lot of new stuff for it.
Chestnut will wrap up what's left of Gomira's first quest, and focus on the second quest (she has already started), also doing all the new placeholder cutscenes and hands I've been creating these past couple of weeks.
