Hi everybody.
Last week, we posted a video showing the creation of the Twins, sisters who live in the large farmhouses in the village near the Old Capital. Here's the completed version of their sprites. As you see in the current background and map image, we initially meant for one of them to dress red and the other one pinkish, but in the end, we decided to go with red and yellow to distinguish them more easily. That means we'll later change the existing art to match the sprites' colors.
The melon sister on the right, holding a watermelon, is Penny, and the honeydew-carrying twin on the left is Poppy.
Lastly, what you see here are the sprites' basic expressions. Chestnut will later draw more hands and facial features for them (different eyes, eyebrows, and mouths), as needed for their brief role in 0.8.
