Happy Friday, and I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Here's a summary of our work:
Chestnut focused on new sprite additions and hidden photos. In the case of the latter, as many of you know (we published a post about it last year), the 0.8 will see the addition of three new hidden photos taken by Lambert, the photographer. Those will be from Aureola, Gretta, and Simmone. Chestnut had already created sketches for these artworks, and last week she spent some more time on those, something she wants to wrap up this month.
I was busy with the ending of Holly's story, writing, rewriting, editing the text, and posing dialogues. I also created a whole bunch of new artworks for Chestnut (she will likely create new tasks after she's played the content and given feedback on whether they work or not). The challenge is to have an ending that feels satisfying without making it too long (that would require too much art and polish). I've been advancing well, and my plan is to be done with the posing task of the climax and the ending by next week's report. That way, I'll have enough time to work on optional convos and alternative dialogues in the remaining days of January.
