Hi everybody.
Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Here's a summary of our work from the last week of Feb:
Chestnut completed multiple work-in-progress cutscenes and sprite additions, which I will later code into the game, and is also almost done with the hidden photos. She's focused on finishing the remaining tasks, and from next week onward, she'll be able to dedicate all her time to polishing the art, creating new art needed for the fixes, and likely helping me with more testing.
I did one sex animation (featuring a sexual act we had never had in the game, which was fun) and coded two sex animations. The rest of my time, I spent fixing and editing different elements of the update, from Holly's outfit and when and how it's shown, to changing the color of the house of the Twins to match their sprites (initially, the houses' roofs were red and pink, but the twins like to dress in red and yellow). I've also been playing Holly's content a bunch from the very beginning to ensure everything feels cohesive and 'right'.
In the next few days, and once Chestnut is done with her existing art tasks, we will add a bunch of new edit and debug tasks to our progress tracker to better reflect the job left. We definitely want to announce a release date, but it'd be wiser to wait a bit more until we do more editing and have a more accurate estimate. Thank you for being patient and supporting Chestnut and me while we do that. All I can say is that we're working as hard as we can to make the wait worth it and to make you feel that you supported an update that ended up being really enjoyable (and a little crazy, in a hopefully good way). Thank you!
