TLDR: Learning new animation stuff so upload are going to be less constant for a bit but i promise it'll be worth it in the long run.
Long of the Short:
Hey, so I don't know if the next animation I’m working on is going to come out by this weekend so instead of just uploading sketches or whatever, I figured I'd explain what I’m tryin' to do.
I'm basically trying to teach my self some new lighting / shading techniques in Davinci while switching from animating storyboards in CSP, to animating them in moho as animating them in moho would make it WAY easier for me to get more correct timings, set up rigs, decide what can be done in raster, what needs to be done in vector, etcetera.
What's probably going to happen instead of trying for another big animation is that I’m going to do a few short animation loops so I can actually make sure I’m learning the new pipeline I’m designing for my self and see what works and what doesn't so I don't keep planning huge projects only to get burnt out when the work becomes over whelming because I failed to properly plan out and break down the different production processes.
Lastly, I know a lot of folks have been asking about commissions and what not and for right now, they're going to stay closed, not only because of the payment processor thing, but more importantly because I want to focus on doing my own thing for a bit so I can keep improving and trying new stuff. At this point, i don't know if nor when I’ll reopen for commissions but in the mean time, my primary focus is to work on my quality and learn more skills since I'm just one person needing to fill many roles to make the kind of stuff I want to create.
I think that's about it for an update. I apologize for the kinda rushed outline but I figured a quick update would be better than me trying to rush out something of quality under my self imposed crunch time to get things out every Friday night / Saturday morning.
