__________________________________________In Nexy News, got a little BTS info on what's going on in my life:Some personal health updates!

Firstly, I'm taking my time to recover from the massive burnout which is nice! For those of you who've been asking why I haven't been on Discord for a long time and/or slow to respond to messages, well... I'm about to tell you why 😅One of my biggest issues is my sleep, I struggle with insomnia which is brought on my stress and all sorts of stuff, as well as I have 'delayed sleep onset' which essentially means my internal sleep clock is dialed forward more than normal. So when a typical person might feel sleepy around 10-12pm or whatever, my internal clock is pushed forward four hours so I feel sleepy around 2-4am.Couple this with insomnia means my sleep can get up the shit real quick when I'm in a tough spot 😓

But the good thing is I've taken the time to read a bunch of research papers on this to find out the best way to help this, and now redoubled my efforts to finally see if I can maintain some control over all this and hopefully improve... but in short it takes a LONG time and a LOT of effort to do this!I won't go over all the steps and elements of the regime because that'd go on forever, but here's a good example: One of the steps of the regime is to no matter WHAT time you go to bed/sleep, ALWAYS get up at the same time, no excuses.I've chosen 9am for now, but this means that if I go to bed at the typical 4am that's not much sleep! So then I feel exhausted all day (and I'm NOT allowed to nap) and I have to maintain this for days before I'm then allowed to dial back when I go to bed... but can only do it 15 minutes at a time meaning 3:45am 😅So you can see how the cycle of exhaustion exists! And so I've been essentially existing as a zombie this past week or two since I got back from Fringe, just doing the bare minimum to function and work to make sure I don't push myself too hard while this process is toughest, hence not being on Discord/messages.BUT... this is normal for how this is meant to work, and essentially you've just gotta be okay with being FUCKED for the first few weeks so that you can break the cycle. And then AFTER that things will improve!

So it's awful to go through and do... but it's all for the greater good. Sucks in the short term to gain in the long term 😊

Computers fucking SUCK!!!

The second update is FUCK YOU WINDOWS 11. (Prepare for a lot of rage.)

My desktop computer (which I do almost all my work on) has been a little fucking FUCKER and freezing and crashing and all sorts of shit.I've just left it and dealt with it up until now... and then I had the bright idea to maybe try and fix it, eh?

But of course... when you try and fix shit with computers... you just break it MORE.So I've spent the last THREE DAYS troubleshooting this SHIT, and then of course one of the steps is updating my BIOS which then BRICKS MY DAMN COMPUTER and leaves it in a constant black screen boot cycle which means I've gotta dismantle my DAMN INTERNALS AND- GGGGAAAAAHHHH!!!!

Look... This update is long enough without going into the details of this, so I'm not gonna go on... you get it. But this is why this upload took a couple days longer than it should.

I THINK I've fixed the issue, but maybe I didn't cos who fucking knows anymore and what is life??

If I had more time and brainspace at this point I'd LOVE to give Linux a shot cos fuck you windows... but because of the above sleep trails I'm trying to keep that adventure for when I have more mental faculties 😆

Anyways... that's Nexy News! Thanks for indulging my rants, stay gold Ponyboy! 😘

Much love,Nexy xx
