Animation and Updates! 💜

Hey all!

I'm back from the family emergency and move, although there were roadblocks it all ended up well enough and everyone is safe which is the main thing 😊Thank you all for your patience and kind words during this difficult time, I really appreciate you all 💜

Comic Update!

The comics are starting back up again this week, but the new one isn't quite cooked yet because of all the disruptions of the previous week.I've started work on it and I'm probably half way through creating the assets for it, but I'd rather not rush it and just give a little bit of extra space from the mayhem.One of the characters is almost done being made and ready to be named properly, so tomorrow the Producers will get a teaser of her and get to name her! 😊Hop Aboard IS ready to continue however, so that will be posted at the end of the week!

Animations?...

And what's this animation attached to this post you ask?... well that be the first steps into the realm of animation for Nexy Comics! 🥳

Some of you may remember a LONG time ago I was intending to make animations myself, but in the end it just took up too much time and energy and I never found the space for it.So instead I decided to start looking for other artists to commission small pieces from, whether it be 2D or 3D and see what people can do!

That in itself is a big mission to wrangle artists, and that's when long time fan and friend Moriarty from Moriarty Slugs kindly offered his services as someone who likes to commission other artists!

We started with a simple commission from Juls Pot (click to check them out and send some love!) who works pretty commonly with Moriarty, and I think it's a pretty fun little test!The plan from here is to test out various artists here and there with some simple stuff like this, and when we've got a good feel of how much things cost, how long things take and which artists suit best, then I'm hoping to have a nice little rotation of tasty treats 😊

Moriarty is doing a fantastic job of scoping out options and presenting them to me and I'm doing an even better job at being too distracted and overwhelmed to get my shit together 😅But I will continue to endeavor to do so! And when we've got some more things cooking I'll update you guys on that too 😊
