As I continue to refine the outline for PotV volume 6 I turn to where and when to inject some hanky panky (remember how this is a smut series? Dukerino remembers).
My watchword continues to be that a sex scene has to earn its place narratively. Grant and Sykora have reached a point of happy equilibrium in their marriage which, while it will continue to inform their story, doesn't necessarily lead to plot-relevant sex scenes. I do have a scene or two in mind that I judge interesting and fun, and the current outline calls for one, but I also think there are opportunities for other PoVs to have narratively fulfilling sex scenes—Dylan and Xam, for example. I am curious whether my readership might enjoy seeing other couples getting busy with it as our universe and its attendant PoVs continue to expand.
