Me when I’m arguing with myself over wanting spicy chips when I KNOW it’s gonna hurt me later
All jokes aside, I love that Dagger’s entire werewolf concept relies on his sense of self, and the harder he fights against his fear/anger/etc, the harder it is for him to control his wolf urges. The wolf isn’t a separate entity from him, it’s just the version of him he tries to suppress. That’s why, in the rogue comics, he has more control over himself as a wolf - he’s not trying to suppress it as much. Everyone he loves (Dakota and family/friends) know what he is and accepts it. There’s something here somewhere but I’m not eloquent enough to map that out lmao
