Greetings! It's the exciting part of the month where we press Publish on all our finished projects at 2-Minute Tabletop. We've got a nice variety to kick off 2026 – are you ready?
Vladir Winters has drawn (with pen and paper!) a Cosmic Lab where a volatile liquid is researched and refined. This map is inspired by the interiors of Galactus's space ships as they've appeared in Marvel comic books over the years. Galctus is Vladir's favorite Marvel character, and this is their homage – did you know it's roughly the 60th anniversary of Galactus' first comic book appearance?
Meanwhile, Rooty has been working on a wonderful collection of Giant Garden Assets. These really stir up my love for Zelda: The Minish Cap, one of my favorite games of all time. And don't forget Arrietty, one of my favorite movies! Beautiful work, Rooty.
Connor Johnston has also been working on a Prehistoric Creek, from a time period that is endlessly fun to imagine and explore! Dino skeletons and tracks hint at the age – is your campaign set in the distant past, might it involve time travel, or could this be some lost island in an otherwise fantasy world?
Finally, Davy and Fairbanks have 123 New Tokens to share. Amongst various unique characters there's a theme of dinosaurs to be found here too! You could populate a whole town of dino-folk NPCs with these. :)
Last month I mentioned I was visiting my family and friends in Australia. It's been a great trip! We are all refreshed and exhausted in different ways, sad to leave soon but eager to get back to routine. I've had enough sunshine for the whole year.
We've been talking about daycare and making other plans that will allow me more time for creative work, which I'm looking forward to immensely! We have a lot of plans and ideas for this year, now that my holiday is over.
