SimpleChests 2.0 are here!
This is the third in a series of anatomy updates that aim to improve shapes, textures, bending, and more across all of the SimpleGens family of body parts.IMPORTANT NOTE: SimpleChests 2.0 is NOT a replacement for SimpleChests 1.0, and your sims will not automatically be equipped with the new version.I'm still mostly pleased with the 1.0 chest shapes, so there are fewer changes between versions than the penises have, for example. However, there were still some key features I wanted to add and a few fixes to implement as part of the 2.0 update.FEATURES & DETAILS:1) 11 chest shapes/textures (Standard, Inverted, Protruding, Enlarged, Triangular, Square, Slender, Toned, Bulky, Beefy, Solid)2) Improved reactions to animations, including weight fixes and slot adjustments that caused chests to sometimes display oddly with certain animations or poses.3) A new selection of color overlays. I've created a selection of color overlays in the brand new Simple 2.0 range of colors. There is currently 1 overlay with 20 swatches. The color overlays can be found in the Body Skin Details section of CAS and are categorized as Upper Chest Moles.4) CAS chests are more compact and easier to navigate. I've combined all available chest shapes under one CAS catalogue thumbnail, which allows for less space to be taken up in the catalogue.5) A NoTexture add-on makes tanning with SimpleChests easy! All of my anatomy content is technically clothing, which means they produce tanlines when a sim sunbathes without clothing. My NoTexture add-on removes the textures from the chests, allowing you to choose a SimpleChest overlay so your sim can sunbathe without issues.You can find overlays to match the default textures for all ten chest shapes under the Body Skin Details section of CAS, ready to use with the Textureless add-on.INSTALLATION NOTES:Files included are separated by folder into required and optional.simdulgence_SimpleChests2_Base (REQUIRED)Contains all base male 2.0 chests.simdulgence_SimpleChests2_Addon_NoTexture (OPTIONAL)Removes the texture from the chests, which stops the chests from producing tanlines. You can have both in your game at the same time, or you can remove the 1.0 chests in favor of using the 2.0 versions (which I recommend).2) Are these available for female sims?Not yet, but a female version of SimpleChests 2.0 will be added in the future!I'm open to potentially adding more content to the SimpleChests down the line. If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know!CHANGELOG:2026-06-22: Added a new chest shape, "Pumped".I was recently commissioned to create a larger nipple shape similar to what you might see on someone who uses a pump on their nipples, and the commisioner was happy for me to share it with everyone. The shape has even larger nipples than my previous "Enlarged" style and features a larger areola.The base chest file has been updated to include the new "Pumped" shape as well as a matching Skin Detail overlay and a new larger color overlay that fits the "Pumped" nipple/areola size. The No Texture add-on has also been updated for this shape.2026-03-21: Added an overlay for the "Enlarged" chest style to the Skin Detail texture overlays.2026-03-14: All chest designs have been updated to make them compatible with SimMotion and WW sex animations. Now your sims' pecs can move!There are no "pectoral bones" in the animation rig, so chest movement involves weighting parts of the pectoral area to the existing breast bones. This means your sim's chest will move during any animation where the breast bones also move, from jogging to yoga (SimMotion) to WW animations that include breast movement.Because pecs don't generally bounce and swing to the same degree as breasts can, the movement is a lot subtler and gentler than you'd see on a sim with breasts. I've tried to keep it closer to natural and realistic, so designs like Standard or Slender have less movement to them than designs like Beefy or Solid. I hope you like how they move, and as always, feel free to leave feedback under this post or in a private message/email.Only the meshes have been updated, so you can install this version and immediately see movement without making any other changes. For sims using my SimpleChests designs, their chosen anatomy/outfits will automatically use the new animated version.2025-10-11: Added a new nipple style, Enlarged - preview picture included in the post. The Enlarged nipples are bigger than any of the other options (including the protruding nipples), so you can give your sim larger and more noticeable nipples.Also, updated the Textureless add-on to include the Enlarged nipples (both regular and pierced versions).2025-09-09: Updated the Textureless add-on to include Nipple Piercing Style C.2025-08-19: Fixed an issue with chest textures not layering correctly with some skin details; this was most noticeable with the new age detail overlays added in the 2025-08-19 base game patch, but may have been impacting other content as well.2025-08-07: Fixed an issue causing nipples to deform with chest/weight/muscle sliders. The issue looks minor, but it was necessary to ensure nipples look correct when piercings are added. You can see a preview of the issue and fix at the top of the post. The issue has been fixed across all chest shapes as well as the optional CAS Default file.Also, added piercing overrides to the Textureless add-on. You should use the existing chest overlays in CAS to add texture back to your sim's chests. There are no piercing-specific overlays, so I recommend using the overlay that matches the underlying chest shape (for example, if your sim is using "SimpleChests Piercing A - Toned", you should pick the Toned overlay in CAS). 2025-07-17: Made the package dependent on my BodySelectorList mod in order to see the chests in the WW Body Selector in game. You'll need to install the mod at this link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/1341248422025-06-22: Separated the CAS default (the anatomy you see when removing clothes in CAS) from the Base file. The CAS Default is now a standalone package that can be found inside the zip file in the "2 - Optional" folder.You should replace the existing Base package in your /Mods folder with the updated version from today, and if you want to use my optional CAS default, simply install that file in the same place where you have the Base package.2024-09-02: Made a change that should fix "grey nipple" issues with certain CC chests from other creators. If you experience any issues with male sims having no 3D nipples (aka the mesh is flat) in your game, please let me know; I may have to undo the change if this becomes a problem. Also, although you shouldn't experience the grey nipple issue with any Simdulgence designs, you might encounter the issue if you use other male chest defaults/CC chests in your game.2024-08-25: Removed the clothing overrides that were bundled in with the SimpleChests. Those are now available separately as part of my BetterChests mod.2024-08-21: Made the chests unavailable for werewolves. Werewolf chests may be added in the future.
