Unlike the SimpleGens penis update, which was largely about making an unwieldy project more manageable, the SG vagina update is really about trying to improve their quality. This meant some changes to the meshes, weight mapping, and textures.FEATURES & DETAILS:1) The SimpleGens butt has more polygons to make it smoother than the RealGens, as well as a better underlying texture that matches the style of the SG mens' butts.2) Improved weight mapping makes the sim bending more fluid.3) I've used a new method to combat ugly mesh shadows and shape the sides of the pubic region. This effect is most noticeable in the "Live Mode" comparisons above.4) Improved default skin textures to improve the overall appearance.Overall, I think the result is a nicer vagina option for your sims!The SimpleGens vaginas are the only body part I've created which use the "split" method to fight mesh shadows. As a result, you might think they look weirder in your game than the old RealGens, depending on lighting and time of day. Sometimes the sides of the groin can have dark, hard edges - visible in the top examples of the first and third Live Mode comparisons - that you might think look worse than before.I tried my best and did a lot of testing and experimenting to make them look as good as possible while striking a balance between the old and new methods. I don't know yet whether other players will enjoy the new vaginas vs the old ones, so I'm going to keep an eye on feedback (and my own experience with them) to determine whether I keep this new method or not.The butt crack texture and smoothed groin texture are part of the Default Replacement skin for female sims. Without my skin replacement, your sim won't have those particular details.
