Update - Notes
⚔️"Equip" Menu Enhancements
I’ve redesigned the Equipment Menu to be cleaner and more intuitive.
New "Skills" Tab: I replaced the "Clear All" option with a dedicated Skills view. Now, you can check your allies' abilities directly from the menu. It’s much more useful for refreshing your memory on a warrior’s kit before diving into a tough encounter!
Simplified Layout: The overall UI has been simplified to reduce clutter and keep you focused on your build.
💥 New Combat Popups
To give you better visual feedback during battle, I’ve added three new status indicators:
RESIST!: Appears when using the Guard command. This confirms the 50% damage reduction is active.
CHAIN: Triggers when an ally is hit by the "Curse Chain" status, clearly signaling that their battle commands are currently locked.
WEAK: Appears when receiving unavoidable or "piercing" damage that cannot be mitigated.
🎨 New Effects and UI
Status Fade Effect: Status effects in the Stats window now display in two rows with a smooth half-second fade-in animation for better readability.
Icon Redesign: All icons have been reworked to sit perfectly next to ally avatars. It’s a small change, but it makes the UI look much more cohesive and "pro."
Dynamic Damage Colors: To give each character more personality, damage numbers now feature unique color palettes:
Berkane: Deep Blue tones (Attacks).
Grimm: Visceral Red (Bite).
Maximus: Glowing Yellow (United We Stand & New Weapon Skills).
Maki: High-contrast Flash effects for Katana strikes.
Viscergore: Neon Phosphorescent Green.
⚙️ Performance & Optimization (Rakshasa Update)
Ability Tuning: Refined several animations and added millisecond delays to heavy VFX. This prevents FPS drops when the screen gets crowded with projectiles and effects.
New Preloader System: I’ve implemented a preloading sequence before battles. While this adds about 2 seconds to the initial load time, it ensures the rest of the fight runs buttery smooth.
Please let me know how the new preloader feels! Is the 2-second wait worth the performance boost? I’m eager to hear your feedback.
