This piece shouldn't have taken this long to complete, but it just didn't turn out well.
I need to let go of my habit of obsessing over perfection and detail, but I'm having trouble controlling it.
I've also started to question my art style.
I've started to question whether drawing anime,manga style characters with my painting style is the right approach.
It's hard to put a simple answer to this question.
It was a complex mix of issues. Haha... It's so difficult, my head's spinning.
For now, I think I'll try drawing a character with a "nose". Haha...
And the art style I've been sticking to seems wrong. It's so complicated. Haha...
I don't know the answer. Haha... Sorry.
To further my research on art style, I'll need to quickly draw more works with simpler compositions.
So, I'd like some recommendations for characters to practice drawing.
