A Brief Update!

DESCRIPTION

Hello Patrons,

I will also send out DMs to ensure this update reaches as many of you as possible.

During most of 2023, I paused the Patreon page while I took an extended hiatus. I intended to resume normal operations this year, but multiple events necessitated the extension of my leave.

Patreon recently introduced a feature that allows me to edit pledge amounts on each tier. I have adjusted all tiers to $1 and unpublished all but the first tier. I've chosen to do this for multiple reasons:

It wasn't feasible for me to keep manually pausing the page each month

Outside of pausing the page, my only option until now was to completely delete the page which I don't want to do. There's too much history that would be lost if I were to do so, which made me sad to think about so it was never a viable option.

I'm not producing content at a sufficient speed, so it's not right to ask for pledge amounts for content that isn't delivered.

Lowering pledges to the smallest possible amount allows patrons in each tier to access the backlog of content for as long as they'd like without being charged for the original tier price.

From what I understand, the changes will begin in a month, so unfortunately there's one more month where full prices might be billed. I'm looking to see if I can pause billing for this month to prevent that from happening. However, in case it's impossible, I also wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

I want to return to comics and other content-making as soon as possible, but the hard lesson I'm learning is that these things can't be rushed and happen at their own pace.

Thank you again for your patience and support in the past, present, and future.

With all my love and gratitude,

Megan

(PS - I'm not very active on socials currently, but I host the occasional live stream on Twitch. If you'd ever like to catch up and say hi, that's where you're most likely to find me!)
