Edit: Okay, replaced angle 2! Her eyes were looking off to the side beforeDONE AT LAST!!! Thank you all VERY much for your patience.
Actually, there's a slight issue with angle 2, (which I already fixed), but I forgot to re-enable fluids for the fixed portion. So while it re-renders I'm just posting everything that's done, and I'll update the angle 2 file some time tonight. Once that's done I'll set up the social media posts to go up tomorrow and pick out a few projects for the future. Poll soon too!
Weirdly this has lessened my project anxiety I think. This project is pretty close to a worst case scenario in my mind, in terms of how long it can take + how it can turn out. (and honestly it came out well enough for my tastes, so...)
Time for a lot more "this seems good" and a lot less "why doesn't it look right", hopefully!

Also some updates for Mr. Dog (and me )
He's currently on some new medication (benadryl and prednisone) and the swelling of his tumors has gone down significantly.
Initially I thought chemo was out of the question, but it seems more affordable than I thought. Talked with the vet and if we go with a liquid version it's about 300/month plus checkups. A bit much for me financially, but I'm feeling very, very motivated to make this work. So I MIGHT open commissions in a month or so, depending on how things turn out.
But before even that, I'm going to whip my brain into shape. A project of this scale should not take 3 months, even with everything that's going on. It shouldn't even take one. It didn't USED TO take one. Sure the complexity has increased but I know how to manage that, and I don't necessarily always have to do a fluid loop. Hell it doesn't always even have to be an animation. To be fair, this project had a lot of things happen for me at once, but even subtracting all that, it took 2-3x longer than it needed to.
It's all weird anxiety avoidance and perfectionism and scope creep and performance anxiety andI don't feel it as much now. Maybe today is a fluke but I'm gonna try to hold onto this feeling. It feels exciting again.Oh, panic attacks are completely under control now. Occasionally I'll wake up with heart racing but it's routine at this point, goes away in a minute or two.Which means..... time to try the prozac soon. Might derail everything again but I know what to expect this time.
