🫐 A Slightly Wonky Return.

Welcome back to another transcendently gripping issue of 📨 Letters From Gnome, a newsletter that (while not timely) has been lauded as one of the great works of 21st century literature and journalism.

Let this be an invitation to you all to come back into my demented little world and make it our demented ginormous world by following me here on Patreon! Don’t cost nuthin’ and you get to see a comic with each issue like the one above!

From here on in, why not consider becoming a member? At the Gnome Team level, you get access to all my art, bot SFW and NSFW, as well as every page of every comic I ever produced. Can't beat that!

This issue’s theme is all about dolls in both the inflatory and inanimate sense of the word. What it is about them that I like, and maybe diving into a little bit about what it is about their crossover appeal that we love here in the community.

💬 Some Gnome-Spun Truths:

I’m just going to get right into it; I have always loved physical change. Taking how you expect something to see and having it changed before your eyes is super exciting to me, particularly if the person being changed doesn’t expect it. I think there’s the making something new of the old, but more than that there is a power-pay aspect that’s a little transgressive to me.

That’s the whole ballgame for a lot of this kink to me (inflation, inanimate, goofy expressions and situations). Taking the transgressive and allowing it to live in a safe place where no one is hurt. It’s a roller coaster that’s exciting even though we know it can’t hurt us.

Something to play with where not only you have (safe control) but the person changed is also safely allowed to “be someone else” for a moment, and leave everything safely behind. The toony and silly nature of my art, I think, is key to me enjoying it: I have to believe no one is really hurt by what’s happening, or it completely kills it for me.

And that’s the doll in a nutshell isn’t it? They can’t be hurt, we play our scene with them, and maybe even pick them up later to  play with some other day. That’s at base level. Then, adding it rubbery shine, squeaky textures, and expanding into the mix, it’s pretty much two great tastes that taste great together.

I’m sure I’m missing a ton here, so let me know what you think below! Do you fuck with doll kinks? What draw you to it? What did I miss? And, are there any artists that you think are great at it? Comment below!

✏️ Gnome is where the Art is

One of this week’s posts is a commission of Malevola from Dispatch. Come back tomorrow to see what sort of change was done to this villainess turned hero (hint… there’s a theme this week). She may not be everyone’s taste, but she’s a lot of people’s fetish. Like… a lot?

Speaking of doll comms, I have done a ton of doll-themed pieces, pinups and pages in the past; and I thought I would highlight a few here. After the gallery here, check out my new “Dolls” collection by following the link to follow.

😘 Thanks for reading!

That will do it for us here as well. Next time on the Comic Week installment of Letters From Gnome, I think we'll expand a bit (no pun intended) and talk a little about one of my favorite OCs. Want to find out who? Keep reading the weeklies! And as always...

...keep dreaming!
