DESCRIPTION
Dove back into my silhouette drawing style. I left some of the iterations in so you can see how different they can looks with just a few edits. I love extreme contrast and I guess this is an extreme contrast way to sketch something. No subtleties, just black and white shapes for the most part. Make one edit, and it changes the whole feel of the drawing. The other part I enjoy is how the mind will fill in the details that are not there.
I notice when I cleanup sketches like this, if I'm not aware, I lose some of the life these sketches have with the refinement. I saw that in my January Winter Elf pinup. The sketch it version feels more dynamic. When I cleanup some of these ideas, I must try to keep the energy they have.
