10 Years. My first Patreon post was on June 29, 2016. The moment I decided to try being a full-time professional illustrator.
It's a little hard to believe. Especially because more than once I panicked, dedicating most of my time to Patreon, and I constantly thought, "This is going to end any minute now." And although the uncertainty is always there, my Patreon has become the job I've done the longest.
In 2015, a friend (a renowned professional illustrator) kept insisting that I should try Patreon, but I didn't have much faith in myself. I almost thought I'd try the profile, but since I didn't know how to configure it, I gave up quickly. In 2016, already overwhelmed by the lack of work, I decided to try Patreon more seriously. And since then, it hasn't stopped.
I've had to face many things: the risks of censorship, leaks from unscrupulous people, the threat of AI-Generation and the prompters that are flooding everything, etc. Now I'm also older and sadly a bit slower (I fall asleep at the computer T___T), but I'll keep at it as long as I can.
I'm grateful to each and every one of my Patrons, both the new ones and those who have been following me for 10 years. Thanks also to my team who helped build and establish Accessvere. Thanks to Leena and Sophiie, and also to Lilly for her collaboration. And thanks to my girlfriend (Honeysuckle) for supporting me and encouraging me.
Thank you all!
