In this video we take a deeper look into the issue with the 1895 Winchester and 30-06. The gun was originally designed to handle 30-40 Krag, with an operating pressure of 40,000CUP. When they upgraded the gun to other cartridges, such as 30-06, and 54R later on, they surpassed the strength & metallurgy of the design and time.
