Long time coming, huh?
So, the enemies finally have a BASELINE. In Shipwrecked, I simply created a baseline enemy and based all other enemies off of the outline one. In previous cases, it was Olive, but this time, for the sake of easier productions of animations and sounds, it was Giovanni.
The footage attached is the gate puzzle the game uses on several different occasions. You have to scan a decal on the door and then solve a quick puzzle to get it open. But sometimes, if an enemy is in the building.. they will interfere.

I was worried about how i would pull it off, given how weird it is to work with flipbooks as opposed to videos, but I feel as though the results speak for themselves.
When the whole sequence takes place, Giovanni is dropped RIGHT behind you, and if you run or make eye contact, he sees you.
This AI works for basically any enemy so long as I properly apply its parameters.
I'll keep you guys in the loop but regardless I am STOKED
