Yeah... He's looked at his schedule and after months of trying to plan and figure things out, ultimately we don't think we're gonna be able to deliver a satisfactory game because he just doesn't have the same TIME that I do. And while THEORETICALLY I could learn his skills and do it myself, there's something that some of your are SOMEWHAT aware of.
I often say I'm not an anime fan, and I'm not. But I LIKE anime fans, I have a lot of anime fan friends. I deeply respect anime as a hobby and a medium... But the unfortunate reality is the same cannot be said for gamers. Look, I'm not gonna try to justify that sentiment, it's a ME thing, and even TRYING to explain would just devolve into me being a vitriolic asshole, and so I will just leave it at that. I hate gamers.
And so, I don't trust myself to make a game unless I am working with someone who can temper my profound contempt for gamers, and as such ultimately, any plans for game development are hereby cancelled. I am genuinely sorry, I really was hoping I could make something awesome for you bros - but I hope you understand why that's just not the way the cookie crumbled. I AM actively looking into maybe finding volunteers to help, thus lightening Justin's load and making it viable despite his busy work schedule, but please don't hold your breath. I haven't QUIT, but I don't want to promise anything.
I may hate gamers, but I really care about you bros and creating for you, so please just be patient with me - as usual, your feedback is welcome
