In order to properly serve as her retainer during his incarceration, Benjamin had earned the privilege of not being kept in constant bondage, and - much to his surprise - that liberty would eventually end up extending to the fulfilment of his primary function. Whilst initially grateful for having the control of his limbs restored, he however soon realized that his mistress knew of other ways to circumvent the small measure of freedom that had been bestowed upon him. Whether she was doing it to remind him of their hierarchy, or because she simply found it amusing, he couldn’t really tell - although he wagered that the truth likely lay somewhere in the middle. Whatever the case, it proved to become a near constant hurdle that he needed to contend with, whenever the assumed position required her back to be averted from him - an idea she seemingly appeared more and more comfortable with as time went on.
