A 28 mile race against time in unexplored* Welsh mountains (with a very naughty start)
Good morning $4 Patreons!
Last weekend I decided to brave the cold and go for a run through the mountains, starting near Llangollen in North Wales and ending in the village of Rhydymwyn, mostly following the famous Offa's Dyke footpath.
Things didn't get off to a great start when the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct was closed for construction, and immediately after that I realised that my route hadn't properly loaded onto the GPS. The question became, can I navigate to the end point in time to get home for the David Bowie tribute act? or will the icy, debris strewn paths of the Berwyn and Clwydian mountain ranges prove too much?
*unexplored by me
