What You Don't Always See: We Screw Up (And That's Okay)
We've noticed a lot of comments on recent videos in which people have expressed both excitement in seeing us roll up our metaphorical sleeves and build (or modify) things for our fleet of EVs. We've seen excitement as we've discussed open-source and alternative methods to regain control of our vehicles, charging stations, and data sovereignty. All of that is great - and it makes us smile every time we read a comment expressing those sentiments. But something we feel less happy with is when people assume they can't learn these skills themselves, that we're clearly trained in an area, or that somehow we've just woken up one day with the skills we have. That's far from the truth - which is that we're all self-taught. And yes, we screw up. And those screw ups? They make us better. Today, Nikki talks about some of her recent failures, missteps - and why she thinks it'll lead to a better final outcome.
