Thank you everyone for your patience, this took me a monstrous amount of time and energy to put together. I never meant to go awol, rather I simply couldn't break away from my work to make any social media posts. Crafting this sequence was super intensive as well as a bit strange... It's pretty standard to start with a sketch, then proceed to inks and colours. With this piece, I completed those steps, then started adding new things to the "finished" drawing. I kept adding more and more, until I entered this endless creativity zone. As time drew on, I had to force myself to stop adding things.
It also seemed like outside forces were doing all they could to prevent me from drawing this sacrilegious scene. My laptop died the day after I posted the goblin stuff. Towards the final stages of the drawing, my replacement laptop crashed with minor data loss. Even just in writing this post, the platform hosting the preview video deleted it. Sethan x Drake is the longest, most complex sequence I've ever drawn, amounting to a 4 gig psd with 600+ layers. The audio and video editing stacked even more time onto everything. This is essentially what an art pack would look like if I devoted an entire month to just one piece. The movie and JPEGs (which have extra variants) have been uploaded to the November folder. I will repost the links in the following posts.
