I am very excited to bring to you the beta version of the Andromeda World App! This is a beta versions, I optimized it but there may be more fixing to do. The app is perfectly safe, I id a couple of security audits and there is no risk at all. I am counting on you to test it out, try all the buttons and functions and give me your feedback π
Note: this build is for windows only! I will do the build for mac computers later, but I have no mac to test the app so the result might be random.
Unzip the archive, run AndromedaWorld.exe. The app is a stadalone, it can run wherever you extract it on your computer. When running the first time, it will launch AndromedaAgent.exe, which is a super light updater running in the background. It can be disabled from inside the main app. If you have a very low end computer (without gpu acceleration), the app will be functional but the interactive map will me quite slow. I recommend 3gb vram for the interactive map to run smoothly. When launched, there may be a little lag after the loading screen, I'm still figuring out how to red rid of this lag.
Explanation on the testing phases
Phase 1: this is it, just trying the app, click everywhere, finding bugs, etc...
Phase 2: I will deploy a codex update, it will trigger in your app a notification in the upper left corner
Phase 3: I will deploy an app update, that has to be done through the agent.
