A Big Thank You
What a day to be alive! I cannot believe this will be the last story post I ever make for "Jacob and the Raven's Kiss", but here we are. Thank you all so much for being here, for supporting my work, and for being invested in JRK for almost 5 years now!Before the JRK segment truly concludes, I've got a batch of new Progress Cards that needs completing! There have also been some truly incredible suggestions on Discord for a few "What-if" Extras that I'd love to see come true. Both canonical and non-canonical, but they will all be themed around being extremely lewd and sexy. Sex, orgies, and more. ;)
What's Next?
For those of you that have been around for a long time, you'll remember that my plan has always been to pivot to a 50%-50% style workload between stories and animations. That plan hasn't changed. However, I'd like to take this opportunity to explore other patron reward options too! For example, I haven't left short-form stories off the table yet. I could, potentially, make more frequent 16-panel short stories, or do several one-off comic strips, etc.Regardless of where things go, though, I want to include our community in the form of frequent polls that control what comes next AND what the rewards turn out to be. If you were around when I used to make polls for my stories, you'll feel right at home for this! :)
The Immediate Future
Once all of the JRK content is complete, I want to take the opportunity to get ahead in "Molecular Makeover". For years, I've been working 7 days a week, for 12+ hours a day. And despite that, I always find myself 1 or maybe 2 days ahead of my posting schedule. At best. It's simply not sustainable. So the short-term goal will be to produce panels faster than I post them. Any excess time will be spent to properly rest, spend time with family, and of course to begin planning for what I discussed in the "What's Next?" section above!
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, I've always been a story teller. I think that part of what you've come to know as "Beetlebomb" will never go away. I'm just as passionate about my craft now as the day I started. The form in which my stories take may change, but who I am remains.
I bring this up because—I don't know if you feel this way too but—if you can recall what "Just a Little More" or "Haley's Secret" did so well... it was the perfect mix between story telling and sexy. Sometimes I feel like I let the plot overtake the foundation of our fetish, and... I want to get back to a time when I could properly let the horniness take over lol. If that makes sense? That doesn't mean we degrade the story narrative, but it harkens back to a time when I could simply grow a character's boobs, or height, and not feel like I'm degrading the scene for doing so. Perhaps that's why my heart is leaning towards short-form stories and/or animations? I'm not sure!
Regardless, I'm super eager to hear anyone and everyone's opinions on this. I want to hear from you about what the best content is!
