I thought it would be a good idea to provide a quick progress update to get you all on the same page, as this week has been unusually quiet for me— and for good reason!
Progress Update - News
This week has been jam-packed with character development for Molecular Makeover. Three new characters have been created, all based on a new and improved textures and rigging systems. I'm super proud of the step-up in hair and eye realism as a result of this change. Need I mention, Molecular Makeover is finally getting an adorable Asian character?! I don't know about you, but I feel like this was sorely needed. She vaguely reminds me of a sexier Skylar(from "A Bittersweet Blessing"). What do you think?
In addition to the three new characters, you may have noticed Jess there too. That's actually version three of her. The facial improvements are subtle yet potent. I sharpened her jawline, defined her cheekbones a bit more, and gave her a completely new wardrobe! And, of course, we can't possibly forget that she's been taking Miracell ever since we last saw her. Her legs have gotten proportionally longer, and her hourglass figure leaves little to the imagination! I wonder what role she's going to play in the story now that things are rough between her and Chloe?
I know there's less interest in the male characters(obviously). But they serve an important purpose for the plot as well. And this was the first time I revisited facial hair, which I know a number of fans have always wondered why my male characters never had any. The unexciting truth is that additional hair geometry is expensive in 3d models, but I believe I've found a permanent solution! Only time will tell lol. But at least now, not every male character is perfectly cleanly shaven. Yipee!
Progress Update - Timeline
As you may have guessed, all this development in MM has caused a small hiccup in the JRK "End of Story" extras release schedule. I hope you will understand. However, the good news is that all 3 new MM characters are complete, and everything I intended to add or improve with Jess is also complete. This leaves scene design and a bit of writing. I suspect I'm on pace for a smooth story update this coming Monday!
