I’ve been doing some reflecting on my artwork and Patreon, and I want to rework a few things. I’m planning to slow my pace down a bit to give myself more time to “cook.”
While I try to stay as consistent and frequent with artwork as possible, it can sometimes take a toll. Over time, my brain starts prioritizing the simplest pieces just to meet my personal schedule instead of focusing on the artwork I truly want to create, which requires more time and effort from me.
To make this fair for patrons, I’ll be reworking how I handle the artwork packs for the $5 tier.
+ Treasure Pack (8 Latest Pieces)
You will receive the complete previous Treasure Pack, plus access to the latest ongoing Treasure Pack until it is fully completed (8 pieces). Once a new Treasure Pack begins, an active pledge is required to continue receiving future packs.
To clarify: if you join during an active Treasure Pack, you will continue receiving monthly links until that pack is fully completed, even if you unpledge. Once the next Treasure Pack starts, an active pledge will be required again to receive the latest one.
The goal of these changes is to maintain the value I want the Art Packs to have while giving myself more flexibility with deadlines and creative pacing. Of course, if these changes aren’t well received, I’ll make adjustments. At the same time, I believe most patrons join primarily to support me, and the rewards are simply an added bonus.
A lot of this is ultimately just to help my brain relax a bit and let me focus on creating better artwork.
