Hello everyone. This time, I applied a newly made body for Komano along with a Spartan warrior-style outfit that I’ve wanted to create for a while. I was considering a version with an apron-like garment, but this time I thought it would be better to use an outfit that highlights the newly created body more. I’ll try making the apron version next time.
There are several reasons why I remade Manato’s body, but to put it simply, since I had stitched together various parts before, there were many areas that became broken or looked strange. It might not be noticeable unless you look closely or pay attention, but as the creator, I can’t help but notice every detail, so it kept bothering me.
So I created a new body and tried fixing those issues. I’d say about 80% of it has been improved. There are still some parts that bother me, but I think those are unavoidable due to the nature of the mod.
As for Thiren face, I actually have an idea to remake it and fix the mismatched facial shadows, but I’m too tired right now. Haha. After working on this for several days and revising it dozens of times, I decided to wrap it up for now and fix things gradually later.
I also tried applying body hair as a texture instead of 3D and redrew it several times, but it felt like the overall quality dropped, so I removed it for now. Later, when I increase the texture size and learn how to draw more realistic and natural-looking hair, I’ll revisit it.
