A howl echoed through the facility’s walls, which drew Gudako away from the safety of the facility because she happened to be nearby. Slipping past the security, she overrides an airlock to the observation deck, expecting to find an enemy. Instead, she is met by a towering, white beast.
The now feral Olga, operating purely on instincts, lunges at her, and she pins Gudako to the grating with high speed, with her massive jaws clamping down hard on Gudako's shoulder. But in that split second, a remnant of Olga’s soul recalls the director's desperate need to protect her only Master, and the wish clashes with the beast's hunger. The wolf steps herself away immediately, letting out a confused, distressed snarl before leaping over the railing and vanishing into the Antarctic night.
The beast spends the entire night roaming the frozen wastes, hunting Phantasmal echoes and burning off the energy of the transformation, completely undetected.

As the sun rises on the horizon, now miles away from the base, the massive wolf collapses, its bones cracking and reverting until Olga Marie is left shivering on the snow, completely naked and covered in frost.
Driven by freezing panic and absolute humiliation, she treks back to the facility. Using her supreme command overrides, she opens a hidden maintenance hatch, sneaking through the ventilation shafts and back into her private quarters unseen.
Standing under a scalding shower, Olga vehemently rationalizes the entire night. It was just stress, or a magical hallucination caused by her burnt circuits. The shredded uniform out on the deck? Snagged on the airlock door during a sleepwalking episode. Her mind absolutely refuses to accept the reality, burying the truth beneath pride and denial.

Back inside, Gudako Riyo (リヨ ぐだ子) has bandaged her shoulder, lying to the medical staff that she scraped it on during the lockdown. But the wound feels wrong. It doesn’t just sting; it pulsates with energy and adrenaline. As the day progresses, the curse settles subtly into her human body.
At midday, an intercom summons her to the director's office. Olga, driven by a subconscious, gnawing guilt she can't explain, scrutinizes Gudako from behind her desk. She watches the Master intently, looking for a sign of... she doesn't even know what. But Gudako, masking her feverish discomfort, simply smiles and gives her daily report. Finding no logical reason for her anxiety, Olga dismisses her, concluding her worries are just paranoia.
By the time evening came, the heat inside Gudako had escalated from a fever to an unbearably suffocating burn in her veins. The stiff high collar of the white jacket was already unzipped halfway down her chest, exposing the flushed skin of her sternum and the damp valley between her breasts. Her round, usually expressive face was drawn tight. "I’m burning alive from the inside out. Is the air conditioning failing again?" she thought frantically, as she swayed, her hips bumping clumsily against the wall of the corridor.
Seeking relief from the crowded halls and the overwhelming scents of the usual warmth that came from the Servants that she had come to know, her amber eyes scanned the dimness until they found the heavy, frosted-glass door of Sector 4.
That led to the unused botanical observation room. "P-perfect! Now I wish I could get a soda falling into my hand, please... But why am I looking for a soda here of all places when this place had a fountain right inside…" Her trembling fingers fumbled with the biometric lock, and the heavy door hissed open, releasing a thick wave of earthy air. Stumbling forward, Gudako dragged her heavy, violently sweating body as she slipped over the threshold as silently as possible.
Above her, the massive domed glass ceiling of the observation room revealed the night sky. The clouds had parted, and the moon, still in one of those nights that remain mostly full, hung there brightly. Its light aimed directly down at the facility, cutting through the glass and bathing the overgrown ferns and damp soil in a glow, releasing a much fresher scent into the area.
Gudako stumbled into the beam of moonlight. "Haah... Haaah... This place is better... Even with that smell... Seriously, why is everything so...?" The moment the silver light met her soon-to-be-dilated amber eyes, she froze. For a single second, she felt a strange, magnetic attraction to it. "Eh?..." Her pupils widened, and a bizarre sense of awe washed over her.
But then, the more she was basked under it, the more the heat inside her exploded until it became an agonizing inferno.
"Gaaaaah!" Gudako gasped as she collapsed to her knees. She was sweating profusely now, thick drops rolling down her forehead, stinging her eyes, and pooling between her breasts.
Instinct violently took over. The clothes were suffocating her, and she had to get them off. Her hands flew to her jacket, her fingers clumsy and frantic as she tore at the zipper. She didn't bother unfastening it properly, just grabbing the tough fabric and ripping the Chaldean Mystic Code completely open. She violently and aggressively shoved the jacket off her shoulders, tossing it into the dirt. She grabbed the hem of her black undershirt and yanked it over her head, discarding it instantly. Her bare chest heaved as she shoved her boots off without unlacing them and her bra without unhooking them. Her heels popped out, and she hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her leggings and underwear, dragging them fiercely down her thick thighs and kicking them away.
By this point, she had discarded every piece of clothes she had until she found herself completely nude on the floor, shivering violently despite the boiling heat inside her. "Why is it burning this bad!? This is worse than the fever I had at lunch!"
However, it is only then, as she expressed her bewilderment, that the curse breaks out with the first real wave of the transformation hitting her.
"Aaaargh! Nngh...!" Deep inside her flesh, her very skeletal structure began to rebel.
*CRACK.* *SNAP.*
Loud, sickening pops echoed in the quiet room as the bones in her limbs fractured and aggressively rapidly reset themselves. She slammed her bare hands flat against the floor. Before her eyes, her palms began to stretch. The skin pulled taut as the bones in her fingers lengthened unnaturally. Her fingernails thickened, turning black and dense before they burst out from her nailbeds as sharp, curved claws with a wet *schlllk*.
"Hah... hah... what's... ahhh!" Her jaw locked open. Her gums throbbed with blinding agony as her flat human teeth were aggressively pushed out, replaced by thick, sharp fangs that pierced her own lower lip. Blood welled up, tasting hot and metallic on her tongue. Below her, her bare feet were cracking, the arches snapping upward into a digitigrade stance as her toes merged and sprouted matching black talons. Her arms elongated, the elbows shifting with a brutal *crunch*. She felt the sides of her head burn as her human ears stretched, migrating slightly and tapering into sharp points.
‘My body... I'm tearing apart!’ Gudako thought, panic drowning in the sea of sheer physical agony.
She couldn't support her own weight anymore. Her spine began to grow along her back, the vertebrae popping loudly one by one, elongating her torso. Unable to stand on her shifting legs, she dragged her naked, sweating body backward until her bare back slammed heavily against the cold metal wall of a planter box. She pushed herself up against it, panting heavily.
She looked down at her own body. Thick, coarse fur—orange as fiery as her personality and this very searing heat—began to violently erupt from her pores. It spread rapidly across her soft belly, swallowing her navel, racing up over her breasts, and crawling down her thighs. She looked at her stretching hands and somehow watched in awe as the pale skin of her palms blistered, thickening into dark, leathery paw pads. "I'm... Changing... Aahh... Hair everywhere... Why am I getting so fluffy?!"
*CRUNCH.*
Her shoulders widened brutally, tearing the muscles and forcing them to rebuild thicker. Her collarbone snapped and expanded, and her sternum pushed outward violently, expanding her ribcage into a massive barrel chest as even more thick fur grew over the new bulk.
Then, her legs finally gave out completely. She fell forward, landing heavily on all fours on the ground.
As the base of her elongated spine throbbed, and with a wet tearing sound, a massive, bushy tail erupted from her tailbone. Her pointed ears moved again, sliding up the sides of her skull to plant themselves firmly on the top of her head.
Soon, the pain reached its peak, and her human mind began to go completely blank. The complex thoughts, the worries about Chaldea, and the countless memories she had of her Servants—they were all burning away.
Her neck bulked up, thick cords of muscle swelling to support the changing weight of her skull. Her stance firmly settled, completely leaving her human proportions behind to become entirely wolf-like. As she braced her powerful, fur-covered limbs against the ground.
Finally, her jaw pushed outward with a horrific crack, her nose flattening and fusing with her upper lip as a long, powerful muzzle grew out from her skull. Her amber eyes lost the last shred of human panic that had been completely overwhelmed for the past few moments, replacing it with the intensity of the beast.
And so, the Master of Chaldea had unknowingly been consumed by the exact same curse that claimed her director the night before as well as this very second.

Gudako wakes up groggy, the heat replaced by the soft warmth of heavy blankets. As her eyes adjust, she realizes two things: she is back in her human form, and she is completely naked.
A moment later, she realizes a third thing: she is not in her own bed but in Mash Kyrielight’s quarters. And Mash is lying right beside her, equally nude, with skin that has red marks and wetness.
"Senpai... you're awake," Mash murmurs, shy and strangely fond in her lilac eyes. When a panicked Gudako asks what happened, Mash softly explains. She had been patrolling the upper levels when she found a massive, fiercely agitated wolf prowling the botanical room. But with her unique Demi-Servant constitution and her deep bond with Gudako, Mash didn't fight the beast. She approached it, and the beast had pinned her, but rather than tearing her apart, it was recognized by her scent and soothing presence. Mash explains with her face burning red that she managed to pacify the beast entirely, spending the night "taming" and claiming the monster as her own until Gudako exhausted herself and reverted at dawn.
"However..." Mash shifts closer, resting a hand on her own chest, where a faint, unnatural feel is now blooming in her blood. "Senpai... I think I know what is going to happen to me now."
Gudako freezes and her hand flies to the bandaged bite mark on her own shoulder. The memory of the albino wolf from the night before, the one she had shrugged off as a weird anomaly, comes crashing back.
"That white wolf..." Gudako whispers, the realization setting in. The curse is spreading by bite and even bodily fluid contact, and she just passed it directly to her most important Servant and friend.
Especially when tonight will technically still be a full moon, and now, both the Master and the Shielder possess the curse. They have less than twelve hours to figure out how
to hide two massive beasts inside a locked-down facility before the sun sets again.
