I spent a lot of time agonizing over this page, its for sure the one that had the most revisions and alternate texts. Without giving anything away, I think this is the most important page in the story because its the one that has to somehow bridge you into the idea that there is something weird going on. I considered just having the thing happen and then unpacking it after the face but i figured it would be important for both the viewer and also in the realm of like, there being any amount of consent by Colby. The more I think about it, the more I think "oh maybe I should have unfolded the story differently", but it is the way it is so here it is lolI had a lot of fun painting the last panel, I really like the juxtaposition of lighthearted teehee face into a sort of serious almost threatening one. Anyways it's almost your last chance to stop reading before it gets weird c:
